Give a Child a Toy, was a symbolic name for the charity, which was founded in 1985 by a group of ladies wanting to help. It started as a small charity in order to provide gifts, and much needed recreational and educational opportunities to children of a country torn by civil war, Lebanon. Through our fund raising, Give a Child a Brighter Future gathered toys and school equipment for over 16,000 children. The Charity was able to create up to 10 libraries across the country to benefit children in need.
We are registered in the United Kingdom as a non-political, non-governmental and non-religious organisation.
Over the years and under the leadership of our Chairman Lynna Kalo, the Charity has worked endlessly to develop and to suit the needs of the children.
Give a Child a Brighter Future now provides Hospitals, Organisations and Medical Centers vital paediatric care and medical equipment.
We have raised over £6,000,000 providing equipment for Hospitals such as baby incubators, children’s dialysis machines, monitors, hospital beds and more. We also are working long-term with highly specialised Doctors to follow through on our programs.
