Speech Therapy Clinic and Programmes

Our Speech Therapy Programme was established in 1995. Since then, over 400 children suffering from hearing loss and speech impediments have benefited from our programmes. Fida Hallak, who holds a master’s degree from the Lebanese University, and Rida Yamout, who holds a master’s degree from Saint Joseph University, run this programme. It has been a tremendous success and both therapists have a waiting list of more than 45 children. In 2019, Give a Child a Brighter Future raised money to add a psychomotor therapist to support and aid children’s development.
Eye and Ear Programme and Dedicated Centre

Since 1989, the Eye and Ear Programme has been one of our most important projects. Give a Child a Brighter Future has provided hearing aids, prescription glasses, and artificial eyes for children between the ages of 4 - 16 years old. As of 2018, the charity had donated over 1,200 hearing aids, 4,200 prescription glasses, and 190 haptic lenses.
